Catalunya our future country, is a large community of people with a culture and traditions that make it very special. Its proximity to the Mediterranean Sea creating a very good climate for its residents. We have ski resorts and long coastline. Also i have a traditional health food helps us to have a balanced diet.
One of our most international icons are "els castallers" i "les sardanes". Els Castallers are human towers of great height that are made at village festivals, and The Sardana is a traditional dance.
The capital of Catalonia is Barcelona, a beautiful cosmopolitan city with wide avenues, narrow streets, theaters, shops and great places to eat, among other things. Also Barcelona has a monument which is visited annually by millions of people called the "Sagrada Familia".
Catalunya is one of the most beautiful and pleasant in the world where to live.

Carnival day is a day of celebration and fun. Everyone dresses up many things: of superheroes, animals, objects, famous people, thieves, gangsters, etc. Then everyone goes out to have fun and see the floats Made for the residents of the town or city. People still floats around town dancing to the music that put the floats. Since the floats are released every kind of candy that kids collect.
After a jury decides what is the best coach of all. The winner receives a prize and recognition and popular success of the common people.
Also give prize to the second and third best float of the carnival.
At the end of the night, to celebrate the end of Carnival is a celebration with music and lots of drinks where everyone loses the shame and dignity.
